Description
This compact keyboard display unit (KDU) from Zebra finally makes bulky host computers obsolete: the new stand-alone keyboard ZKDU is compatible with almost all EPL and ZPL desktop, industry, midrange and high-end printers from Zebra. It is designed for versatile use and helps to save valuable space: the compact QWERTY keyboard is fully supported by the Zebra Barcode Designer software that allows you to call up and print barcodes and labels in the future directly with the device, independent of additional hardware.
Once connected to a Zebra printer, access saved forms, input variable data or print labels directly, without the need of a computer.
Additional peripheral devices may be connected via a dynamic, serial port: barcode scanners, scales or even third-party products simplify the input – saving important time and lowering costs. An AC adaptor is not required either, as the keyboard can use the 5V power supply of the printer. Industry, midrange and high-end class devices require minor modification of the printer circuit board configuration.
