Description
The Zebra RFD8500 UHF-RFID reader turns nearly any mobile computer into a fully operational RFID and barcode reader. Pairing with an MDA or smartphone occurs easily via Bluetooth 2.1 in just a few steps. You may also use the RFD8500 in stand-alone mode, as well as batch mode, in case of a sudden connection interruption. In this mode it saves up to 40,000 RFID tags – optimal for complex RFID and barcoding applications in warehouses, logistics, retail and everywhere where high value is placed on uninterrupted work processes.
Thanks to Zebra's patented AutoMac antenna design, the RFD8500 achieves maximum reading/writing speed, high coverage and excellent battery life for at least one shift (even during intensive usage), thanks to its unique energy-saving algorithm. The RFD8500 is compatible with nearly all mobile computers starting with operating system Android 4.4 and iOS 8. Zebra makes the introduction to your own application easier with the corresponding SKDs. The optionally integrated 2D area imager expands the area of usage and is operational-ready at the push of a single button.
