Description
Epson's platform-independent fiscal solution integrates seamlessly into existing POS and software environments and offers compliance with the German law on protection against manipulation of basic digital records. With the combination of Epson's Technical Security Device (TSE) and matching peripheral products, such as the popular TM-T88VI or the compact TM-m30, BSI requirements can be implemented easily and efficiently. The TSE is also used to upgrade existing printers.
The Epson TSE module works completely independently and therefore independently of the connected cash register, because the Epson POS printers address the technical security device directly. This independence offers the particular advantage that the POS hardware and software do not require any additional certification. At the same time, the TSE offers one hundred percent offline functionality. The module is available as a microSD card and can be easily combined with your personalised SD or USB adapters. It supports up to 8 million signatures and features a full three years of certificate validity.
