Important information about the new Epson firmware update!

In the latest firmware version 40.52 for Epson POS printers, the default password for »WebConfig access« has changed. Previously, both the ID and password were »epson«. While the ID remains the same, the password is now based on the serial number of the respective device - this ensures more security.
Old:
ID: epson
Password: epson
New:
ID: epson
Password: serial number of the device
Currently, all Epson POS printers with an Ethernet and/or WLAN connection, such as the TM-T88VI or the TM-m30, are directly affected by the new firmware change.
