The Xenon Ultra 1962h from Honeywell offers users in the healthcare sector high scanning performance, even with damaged barcodes or barcodes on blood and infusion bags. Among other features, it has a »Green Dot« aiming system that improves target detection and scanning accuracy. Several operating modes increase patient comfort: »Do not disturb patient«, »Vibration« and »Scan lamp«. In addition, Bluetooth 4.2 increases the user's freedom of movement.
To meet the requirements of the healthcare sector, the Xenon Ultra 1962h has an antimicrobial and disinfectant-ready housing. The design of the scanner has a reduced number of corners and edges, thus reducing the number of places where germs could colonise. In addition, the Xenon Ultra 1962h offers two power supply options: A lithium-ion rechargeable battery with 3,300 mAh or supercapacitors. The supercapacitors hold their charge for hours when fully charged. If the user forgets to place the scanner in the charging station before taking a break, this has no effect on operation when the user returns. In addition, the supercapacitors are fully charged via the USB port in less than four minutes.
