For smooth operation and quick maintenance, the TM-L90 and TM-L90LF offer particularly easy paper handling via »Drop-In«. They also use paper rolls with a maximum diameter of up to 90 (TM-L90) or 102 mm (TM-L90LF) and process various media formats with a width of 38, 70 or 80 mm. Thanks to the integrated auto cutter, they are even suited for printing with continuous labels. The label printers are also optionally available with an integrated peeler function: a special mechanism automatically peels the label from the liner after printing. Thus, users save valuable time, especially in print-on-demand applications, and it eliminates the need to manually peel labels from the backing roll.

Epson has also equipped the printers with various sensors that make it easier for users to monitor the current printer status. One of the sensors is responsible for approaching paper end and reacts as soon as only a certain amount of paper is left in the feed tray. Another sensor for the actual end of paper signals as soon as all the paper has been used up and there is nothing more to print on. A third sensor activates when the printer cover is open and holds new print jobs until the cover is closed again – ideal for trouble-free maintenance or paper changes.

Thanks to their low weight of just 1.9 kg, compact dimensions of only 140 x 148 x 203 mm (W x D x H) and small footprint, the printers of the TM-L90 Series may be installed very easily and, above all, in a space-saving manner almost anywhere – as needed either standing, lying or even hanging via the optional wall bracket. They also boast practical design features such as an easy paper feed and a long service life of up to 20 million lines.

Naturally, the TM-L90 and TM-L90LF are also equipped with various connectivity options, which ensure simple, uncomplicated and, above all, quick installation. Among others, these include a built-in USB port, a Universal Interface Board (UIB) and a cash drawer connector (TM-L90LF). Plus, the printers optionally rely on a serial, parallel or high-speed Ethernet port.

To ensure that the printers in the TM-L90 Series may also be integrated visually into nearly any existing checkout area, Epson offers them in the colors »Epson Dark Gray« (dark gray) or »Epson Cool White« (white).

Another major benefit of the TM-L90 Series is its high reliability and long life cycle. The printers themselves last up to 20 million lines or up to 360,000 hours of operation. The integrated auto cutter is designed for up to 2 million cuts and the print head supports 120 kilometres or 150 million impulses. Additionally, Epson also backs the TM-L90 and TM-L90LF with a two-year (24-month) warranty.
