Description
The robust radio scanner PM9500-RT is the practical retail variant in Datalogic's proven PowerScan family. It is ideally suited for capturing current stock quantities, for support at the sales counter or for recording incoming goods. It withstands multiple blows and drops at the counter, just like you are accustomed to from PowerScan Series, and is IP65-certified against the ingress of dust and liquids. Thanks to Datalogic's energy efficient STAR 2.0 cordless system, the PM9500-RT provides a reliable radio connection up to 100 m, and capture up to 30,000 barcodes on a single charge.
In addition to 1D and 2D barcodes, the PM9500-RT additionally captures barcodes based on digital watermarks. Thanks to this ability, the robust area imager goes beyond classic borders, and is also ideally suited for future-oriented applications. These so-called Digimarc barcodes are marked over the entire surface of the product packaging and are invisible to the naked eye. This makes the search for the location of the product barcode obsolete, increasing both throughput and efficiency to their maximum.
