Part of the next generation of advanced fixed mount scanners, the Datalogic Magellan 9900i's strong scanning performance and advanced options make it the ideal scanning partner for the assisted and self-service POS. Available in either a scanner-only or scanner/scale model, it offers three housing lengths and multiple POS stand mounts. It also relies on the popular tower form factor for flexible placement at the POS or SCO and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The TDR option of the Magellan 9900i enhances scanning volume by up to 20% and provides a six-sided view of items. It is available in three heights and offers an optional integrated reader for customers to scan mobile devices and coupons themselves, independent of employees in supported lanes. The Magellan 9900i owes its strong performance capabilities to QuadVision, which consists of a multi-core processor and multi-camera with embedded Linux operating system. ScanSentry colour camera options and neural processors also enable artificial intelligence (AI) support.
