Un sistema operativo Android aggiornabile garantisce prestazioni eccellenti. Grazie a LifeGuard per Android, il TC8300 riceve regolarmente nuovi aggiornamenti di sicurezza e supporto per le prossime versioni Android P e Q. Il computer mobile può anche utilizzare app TE.
Lo Zebra TC8300 è progettato per l'impegnativo uso quotidiano nei magazzini, in particolare per le giornate frenetiche! Il computer mobile è certificato secondo gli standard IP65 ed è resistente agli urti da 1,8 m secondo MIL-STD-810G; anche 2.000 urti non lo disturbano. E indipendentemente dal fatto che l'umidità sia del 5% o del 95%, il TC8300 rimane affidabile. Inoltre, è dotato di una batteria PowerPrecision da 7.000 mAh che dura tre turni senza ricarica.
Per la velocità sul lavoro, affidati al processore octa-core da 2,2 GHz, 4 GB di RAM/32 GB di memoria flash (pSLC) o 8 GB di RAM/128 GB di memoria flash (3D TLC). Con questa dotazione ha otto volte più RAM e trentadue volte più memoria flash rispetto alla prima generazione di computer mobili. Grazie a WLAN, NFC e Bluetooth 5.0, lo Zebra TC8300 riceve e trasmette dati, come le immagini scattate con la sua fotocamera da 13 megapixel, più velocemente che mai.
Zebra offre il TC8300 in due varianti: per la scansione a corto raggio da 15 cm e per la scansione da 60 cm. È inoltre possibile scegliere tra diversi motori di scansione: il computer mobile TC8300 è disponibile con uno scanner 1D (SE965), un imager 1D/2D omnidirezionale a corto o medio raggio (SE5850 ER), un imager 1D/2D a lungo raggio (SE4850 DP) o anche con un imager per marcatura diretta delle parti (DPM) (SE5750 DP).
