Thanks to 384-bit encryption, the Swissbit practical hardware TSE offers even higher security standards than the official specifications of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). As a result, Swissbit's technical safety equipment is well prepared for future adjustments to the security level. Swissbit guarantees a lifespan of up to 20 million signatures and a data retention of up to 10 years with inactive storage. This provides additional security, especially with regard to sensitive billing data.
Vendors and integrators easily integrate the TSE into their POS systems. In addition to the cryptographically secured unit, Swissbit also provides a SDK (Software Development Kit). Drivers and support for all common operating systems (Windows, Linux, Android and Embedded systems) make integration much easier. 8 GB of NAND storage is available for both secure fiscal storage for signing fiscal transactions and free-user storage. The latter may be used by the system for any additional tasks.
