This Metapace T-4 CUPS Driver V1.0.0 will Supports All Linux Distributions whose Kernel version is fall between 2.4.18-14 and 2.6.x-x
If your Kernel version is older than 2.4.18-14 . Please Contact Metapace CO Ltd, with your Linux Kernel version information and your Linux Distribution information. We will send the new driver to you as soon as we received your request.
There are two ways to check the successful installation of Metapace T-4 CUPS Driver V1.0.0
          1. Refer the Log file " bixolonlogs " under /tmp directory.
          2. Run the following Commands
                    ls /usr/share/cups/model/T-4_v1.0.0.ppd
                    ls /usr/bin/rastertoT-4_v1.0.0
                    ls /usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertoT-4_v1.0.0
Successful returns of all 3 commands will indicate successful installation of Metapace T-4 CUPS Driver V1.0.0
This problem is not related with our driver, is related with the linkage between the Open Office and CUPS. Since our driver is based on CUPS, whatever the setting you made through Open Office will override by CUPS admin. So please use CUPS Admin tool to change the printer settings.
