The OMNIKEY 6121 from HID is a compact USB smart card reader for SIM format smart cards. With its handy dimensions of 74 x 21 x 10 mm, its elegant design and the key ring loop, it is easy to carry in a pocket or on a key ring. It is easily connected to the PC via the USB interface. It uses the native CCID drivers of the operating system so that no drivers need to be installed.
The OMNIKEY 6121 is compatible with almost all smart cards and all common PC operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and Android. It also supports high-speed data transfer and complies with all major standards such as ISO 7816, USB CCID, PC/SC and HBCI. USB CCID support enables easy integration into existing systems, while the UPC barcode simplifies logistics.
