The Zebra RFD40-M is a powerful, premium-class UHF RFID sled with extended range and performance. It was developed for demanding RFID applications in retail, logistics, industry and warehousing, and is particularly impressive in environments with high tag density. With a read speed of over 1,300 tags per second, it enables fast inventory counts, efficient goods receipt and accurate item tracking. Thanks to its OS-agnostic platform, it is also flexible enough to connect to current and future Zebra mobile computers as well as third-party iOS and Android devices. Pairing is convenient via NFC tap-to-pair, scan-to-connect or QR code – without any manual Bluetooth settings.
In addition to its high RFID performance, the RFD40-M impresses with its modern connectivity and robust design. Bluetooth 5.3 ensures stable connections, and the integrated Wi-Fi 6 enables remote management, firmware updates and device monitoring directly via the sled itself. The powerful 7,000 mAh battery provides a long-lasting power and is optionally available with a security feature that prevents accidental removal. Thanks to IP54 protection, drop resistance from heights of up to 1.5 metres, and an ergonomic design, the scanner is built for intensive daily use.
