Description
The SUNMI D3 is a powerful desktop POS terminal for modern checkout environments in retail, convenience stores and hospitality. Its 15.6" Full HD touchscreen provides a clear overview and intuitive operation, while the anti-fingerprint coating reduces distracting fingerprints. Inside, an octa-core processor with up to 2.2 GHz and, depending on the configuration, up to 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM deliver reliable performance. SUNMI OS 4.0 (based on Android 14) or Android 14 also provides a modern platform for professional POS applications. Depending on the application, the SUNMI D3 is available as a single- or dual-display system. In addition to the main display, variants with an additional 10.1" HD touchscreen are available. Optional on-screen NFC supports ISO/IEC 14443 Type A/B, MIFARE and FeliCa, among others, as well as Host Card Emulation, expanding the terminal with additional options for contactless interactions. The modern housing design with concealed cable management also keeps checkout areas neat and tidy.
For integration into existing POS systems, the D3 offers a wide range of interfaces. These include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 with BLE, Ethernet, multiple USB-A ports, USB-C, a serial port and an RJ12 connection for cash drawers. Optional accessories such as a magnetic stripe reader and mono or binocular cameras further expand its range of applications. The SUNMI SDK interface also enables integration into a variety of industry applications, while integrated multi-level security features provide protection against tampering, fraud and unauthorised access.
