Customer Information on the Application of the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)

The GPSR serves as a legal basis for ensuring product safety within the European Union. The objective of the regulation is to ensure that all products placed on the market are safe and free from hazards for consumers. The regulation applies to products intended for consumer use and establishes extensive safety requirements for this purpose.
According to the definition provided by the regulation, a consumer is any natural person who acquires or uses a product or service for purposes that cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activities (see Article 3, No. 4 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988).
Our products are exclusively distributed to professional users who utilize them in a professional or industrial environment. For this reason, we believe that the provisions of the GPSR do not apply to the products we distribute.

Nevertheless, we have submitted a request for the required information regarding GPSR to our manufacturers.
