For more customer satisfaction, the BEETLE /iSCAN EASY eXpress is equipped with a large TFT LCD, with dimensions of either 15" or 19”with a screen format of 4:3. The display’s capacitive touch technology ensures very simple and fast operation. Plus, the optional hybrid variant is available with a customer-side second display in sizes of 8", 12" or 15". Both the main and customer displays are easily operated via the operating systems Windows, Linux, WNLPOS or POSReady. The widely used and easy-to-learn user interface of these operating systems reduces the training time of new employees to a minimum.

Additionally, the BEETLE/iSCAN EASY eXpress features a high-performance thermal printer for the quick generation of receipts and coupons. An additional magnetic stripe reader simplifies contactless payment and a 2D scanner and optionally available handheld scanner may be used for recording purchases by customers themselves, for example. For these cases, the kiosk system also sues the self-service applications of Diebold Nixdorf’s VynamicTM Self-Checkout software platform.

The two payment terminals Ingenico iPP320/iPP350 and Verifone Vx 820 are integrated, standard in the BEETLE /iSCAN EASY eXpress. They also support cashless payment (such as with coupons, vouchers and deposit receipts). The kiosk system additionally features an optional NFC payment possibility, NFC authentication and deactivation of electronic anti-theft tags (EAS deactivation).A standard integrated attendant lock provides more security for logging in: In addition to an attendant key, it also requires the capture of a barcode and a magnetic card or NFC.

The modular design of the BEETLE /iSCAN EASY eXpress enables simple, fast and flexible integration and installation into existing POS areas. To make this even easier, the kiosk system is available with a stand, as well as is suited for both wall and tabletop mounting. Thus, there are virtually no limits to integration options.

Diebold Nixdorf has also placed great emphasis on flexibility in terms of dimensions, which is why the BEETLE/iSCAN EASY eXpress is available in various sizes. The model with a 15" display measures 440 x 115 x 595 mm (W x D x H) and weighs approximately 25 kilograms. The model with a 19" display, on the other hand, measures 440 x 115 x 690 mm (W x D x H) and weighs 30 kg. The optional hybrid variant only differs in the depth dimension, which is 450 mm.

Another benefit is that the BEETLE /iSCAN EASY eXpress is also optically adaptable to individual requirements via Diebold Nixdorf. The design options range from flexible, user-specific implementation options to a unique colour scheme for nearly all metal components. Even design textures such as wood may be implemented via Diebold Nixdorf upon request.
