The Datalogic Magellan 3700 is a high-performance single-plane scanner for traditional in-counter systems in retail and self-checkout applications. Its horizontal design, featuring a durable, scratch-resistant sapphire glass scan window, ensures reliable and intuitive barcode capture while seamlessly integrating into modern checkout systems — especially in environments with high throughput requirements.
Thanks to its wide field of view, the Magellan 3700 detects barcodes as items approach the scan window, reducing search movements and minimizing delays during the checkout process. In addition to standard 1D and 2D barcodes, the scanner also supports Digimarc, OCR applications, and GS1 Digital Link.
The scanner is available in multiple model variants — from Standard to Premium and Premium+. Depending on the version, additional features such as color image capture for ID scanning, optional RFID support, AUX port, and USB-C Power Delivery (Premium model), as well as an integrated color video camera (Premium+ model), are available. This enables precise customization to different checkout requirements.
