The Datalogic Magellan 3600 is a modern single-plane barcode scanner specifically designed for compact checkout counters, self-checkout systems, and kiosk applications. Thanks to its vertical design, it is ideally suited for installations on the counter, on the wall, or directly inside self-checkout terminals. The flush front surface simplifies integration into existing systems and ensures a clean, modern POS appearance.
In retail environments, the Magellan 3600 stands out with high scanning performance and intelligent data capture. It reliably reads 1D and 2D barcodes, Digimarc codes, as well as damaged or poorly printed labels, and also captures mobile coupons directly from digital displays.
The scanner is available in several model variants — from Standard to Premium and Premium+. Depending on the version, additional features such as color image capture for ID scanning, optional RFID support, AUX port, USB-C Power Delivery (Premium model), and an integrated color video camera (Premium+ model) are available, allowing precise customization to different POS and self-checkout requirements.
With support for GS1 Digital Link, the Magellan 3600 is well prepared for future retail demands. In addition, its energy-efficient, IP52-certified housing ensures durability and long service life in everyday checkout operations.
