Description
The Ajax FireProtect 2 RB Jeweller is a wireless fire detector available in several versions to meet different safety requirements. Depending on the model, it is equipped with a heat sensor, an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, or a combination of a dual-spectrum smoke sensor, heat sensor and CO detection. The heat sensor responds to critical temperature increases or when predefined temperature thresholds are exceeded, while the CO sensor provides early warning of dangerous carbon monoxide concentrations. Models featuring the dual-spectrum smoke sensor reliably detect smoke while significantly reducing the risk of false alarms. This makes the detectors equally suitable for residential properties, offices and commercial premises.
The FireProtect 2 RB Jeweller is installed quickly and flexibly without any wiring and is powered by replaceable batteries with a service life of up to seven years. Using the secure Jeweller wireless technology, with a communication range of up to 1,700 metres in open space, multiple detectors interconnect so that, in the event of an alarm, all devices sound simultaneously within 20 seconds – even without an active Internet connection. The integrated 85 dB siren and LED status indicators provide clear on-site warning, while the Ajax apps deliver detailed information on events, device status and maintenance requirements. Depending on the model, features such as dust compensation, self-diagnostics and tamper protection provide an additional level of reliable fire safety.
