Description
Description
The Ajax WaterStop Jeweller is a key component of Ajax’s automatic leak protection system. It combines a robust brass ball valve available in sizes ½" (DN15), ¾" (DN20) and 1" (DN25) with a powerful electromechanical actuator. The motor closes the valve in just seven seconds as soon as an alarm is triggered by a LeaksProtect detector or a third-party water sensor. Via the Ajax app, users monitor the valve status and remotely shut off or restore the water supply. In addition, various automation scenarios allow control based on schedules, temperature, LightSwitch events or the security mode.
An integrated tamper mechanism enhances security by triggering an alert if the electric actuator is detached from the valve. Installation is highly flexible: a plumber first installs a standard ISO 5211 valve, after which the installer mounts the actuator onto the valve without tools. The device is powered either by batteries or via a 9–12 V power supply and communicates reliably with the hub via the Jeweller wireless protocol, offering a range of up to 1,100 metres.
