Description
The Ajax TurretCam HL is a powerful wired IP surveillance camera featuring AI support, hybrid illumination and excellent image quality. It is available in four variants: 5 MP or 8 MP resolution, each with either a 2.8 mm or 4 mm lens. The 2.8 mm version offers an especially wide field of view of 100°–110°, while the 4 mm option, with a viewing angle of 75°–85°, is optimised for longer distances of up to 50 metres. Thanks to hybrid IR and white-light illumination, the camera delivers clear colour images day and night – even in complete darkness. True WDR further ensures balanced results in scenes with strong backlighting.
To ensure security and data integrity, the TurretCam HL uses mTLS authentication, TLS-encrypted video streams and digital signature verification. The camera also supports motion detection, AI-based object recognition and local recording on a microSD card. With its robust housing rated to IP65 and IK08, it is ideally suited for outdoor use. Installation and management are conveniently handled via Ajax apps and ONVIF/RTSP, while JetSparrow technology enables fast video playback.
