The Ajax TurretCam is a powerful wired IP security camera for indoor and outdoor use, combining high-resolution video with intelligent analytics. Available with either a 5 MP sensor for detailed HD footage or an 8 MP sensor for ultra-high-definition imaging, the TurretCam delivers sharp, clear images both day and night. Different lens options with 2.8 mm or 4 mm focal lengths provide either a wide or a more focused field of view, making the camera ideal for open areas, entrances or specific monitoring zones. Adaptive infrared illumination with a range of up to 50 metres automatically adjusts light intensity to ensure detailed recordings even in complete darkness. Integrated AI analytics reliably detect and classify people, vehicles and pets, allowing relevant events to be identified and recorded with precision.
The Ajax TurretCam integrates easily into existing networks via Power over Ethernet (PoE) and supports ONVIF compatibility for connection to video management systems (VMS). Video recordings are stored locally on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 256 GB, and the camera is configured to start recording or trigger streaming scenarios automatically when alarms occur. Its robust metal housing is IP65-rated for outdoor use and includes a tamper contact for sabotage detection. When combined with Ajax systems, the TurretCam enables reliable visual alarm verification and enhances security and automation solutions with high-quality video surveillance.
