The Ajax NVR DC is a powerful network video recorder that expands the Ajax security system with professional video recording capabilities. It enables the integration of third-party IP cameras into the Ajax video management software (VMS), creating a seamless connection between video surveillance and the security system. Thanks to the proprietary JetSparrow technology, video streams are encrypted and transmitted in real time via peer-to-peer connections, ensuring high image quality with minimal latency. Users benefit from an intuitive live view, fast archive navigation using calendar and filters, and convenient video clip export directly from the Ajax app.
The DC version of the Ajax NVR is designed for low-voltage operation and is particularly well suited to flexible installation scenarios. The recorder supports high-resolution video streams up to 4K and accommodates an internal 3.5" SATA hard drive with up to 16 TB of storage capacity. Comprehensive security features such as TLS and mTLS encryption, two-factor authentication and tamper notifications reliably protect sensitive video data. Setup is quick via QR code pairing, while continuous system monitoring keeps track of camera status, hard drive health and network connectivity.
