Description
The Ajax NVR expands any Ajax system with professional video surveillance and supports both Ajax cameras and ONVIF-compatible models. Two versions are available: an 8-channel model and a 16-channel model, both supporting 4K resolution. System events are transmitted via the Ajax Cloud, while the proprietary JetSparrow technology provides fast peer-to-peer streaming. This enables delay-free live viewing and immediate playback of recordings via dual streaming. Convenient archive navigation with calendar and filter options makes it easy to find relevant footage.
For maximum security, the NVR uses TLS-encrypted video streams and an mTLS handshake between the cloud and the recorder. Data protection is managed in real time via the app, including access control and session management. Thanks to SmartBracket mounting, QR code setup and automatic detection of local cameras, installation is particularly straightforward. The NVR also supports a 3.5" SATA hard drive with up to 16 TB of storage and provides real-time HDD health monitoring.
