The Ajax MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Jeweller is specifically designed for outdoor applications, combining advanced motion detection with versatile photo verification capabilities. Its two PIR sensors and microwave sensor, each with a horizontal field of view and a detection angle of 90°, reliably monitor even large outdoor areas. Thanks to the HDR camera, IR illumination and an image resolution of up to 640 × 480 pixels, the system delivers clear photo images regardless of lighting or weather conditions. Photo verification can is triggered by an alarm, scenario, schedule or manually on demand.
To prevent false alarms, the detector employs multiple algorithms, including SmartDetect, temperature compensation and filters against thermal interference. An integrated anti-masking system, a magnetometer for position monitoring and authentication technology provides robust protection against tampering. With a wireless range of up to 1,700 metres and an IP55 protection rating, the detector is ideally suited for demanding outdoor installations. Mounting at a height of 2 to 4 metres is quick, secure and low-maintenance using the metal swivel bracket.
