Description
The Ajax FireProtect Jeweller is a wireless smoke and heat detector for indoor use with an integrated acoustic sounder. Its photoelectric smoke sensor detects smoke particles at an early stage, while the additional temperature sensor triggers an alarm in the event of dangerous temperature increases. A fire alarm is reliably activated when the temperature exceeds 60 °C or rises sharply within a 30-minute period. The intelligent HazeFlow algorithm filters out typical sources of interference and reduces false alarms by confirming smoke detection before classifying it as a real threat.
For enhanced safety, the FireProtect Jeweller is linked with other smoke detectors. When one detector is triggered, all connected devices activate their 85 dB sirens simultaneously, alerting people throughout the building. The detector is integrated into an Ajax system or operated autonomously without a hub. Pre-installed batteries provide up to four years of operation, while automatic smoke chamber self-testing reduces maintenance requirements. Installation is quick and straightforward thanks to the SmartBracket mounting plate and QR code pairing.
