The Ajax EN54 FireProtect Jeweller Sounders and VADs are specifically designed for use in standard-compliant, wireless fire protection systems. They provide reliable audible and visual alarm signalling in the event of a fire and comply with the requirements of the European standards EN54-3 (audible alarm devices) and EN54-23 (visual alarm devices). The devices are fully integrated into the Ajax EN54 fire protection system and communicate securely with the EN54 FireHub Jeweller via the encrypted Jeweller protocol. In the event of an alarm, signals are triggered synchronously across the system to ensure clear and unambiguous fire alarm notification – even in noisy environments or areas where occupants may have impaired hearing.
Thanks to wireless installation, the Ajax EN54 FireProtect Sounders, VADs and combined Sounder/VAD devices can be flexibly positioned without the need for complex cabling or structural modifications. Continuous status monitoring automatically reports faults or failures to the control panel. Configuration, maintenance and diagnostics are conveniently handled via Ajax PRO tools. This makes the EN54 Sounders & VADs ideally suited for office buildings, hotels, educational facilities, industrial sites and public buildings with high requirements for standards-compliant alarm signalling.
