The Ajax EN54 FireReX Jeweller is a wireless repeater specifically designed for certified fire protection systems and is used to reliably extend wireless coverage within large or complex buildings. It ensures a stable connection between wireless Ajax fire detectors and the EN54 FireHub Jeweller control panel, guaranteeing standards-compliant transmission of alarm, fault and status messages. Communication is handled via the encrypted Jeweller protocol with continuous monitoring of all links. The FireReX Jeweller operates as an independent system component and immediately reports communication failures, tamper attempts or power outages to the control panel.
The integrated backup power supply of the EN54 FireReX Jeweller, featuring monitored batteries, ensures continued operation in the event of a mains power failure, fully compliant with EN54 standards. Integration, configuration and maintenance are carried out via Ajax PRO tools. The EN54 FireReX Jeweller is ideally suited for large buildings, multi-storey sites or structurally challenging environments where a wireless, certified range extension of the fire protection system is required.
