Description
The Ajax DomeCam Mini is a compact, wired security camera that combines professional video surveillance with seamless integration into the Ajax system. It delivers sharp images with a resolution of 5 MP or 8 MP and, thanks to True WDR, produces highly detailed footage even in challenging lighting conditions. Integrated infrared illumination ensures reliable monitoring in low-light environments, while AI-based video analytics accurately detect people, animals, vehicles and other objects. As a result, only relevant events are recorded and false alarms are significantly reduced. The camera also supports Power over Ethernet, simplifying installation and providing stable power and data transmission.
For maximum security, the DomeCam Mini uses advanced encryption and data protection mechanisms. Video streams are transmitted peer-to-peer via JetSparrow technology and further protected by TLS and mTLS. In addition to operation via the Ajax NVR, the camera also works independently using an SD card. Users benefit from an intuitive live view, fast archive navigation and convenient video verification of alarms. With its robust IP65-rated metal housing, the DomeCam Mini is also suitable for outdoor use.
