Datalogic Shield protects your customers' Android mobile computers through regular security updates, plus it provides them with support throughout the entire life cycle. Shield support includes regular firmware updates, quarterly security updates, full Android version and OS updates, and bugs fixes.
With other providers, mobile security support normally ends after 2 to 3 years. Shield subscribers receive 5 additional years of support. Even 2 years after the end of life of the product (EOL), subscribers receive firmware and security updates. Overall, this means 5-7 years of support.
Shield subscribers benefit from reduced investment costs, are protected against security risks and benefit from the extended lifetime of their Android mobile computer.
Shield is currently available for the Datalogic Joya Touch A6, Memor 1 and Memor 10 mobile computers. Datalogic Shield's support is planned for all future Datalogic Android mobile computers.
